The Rochester, NY practice does not accept insurance and operates on a self-pay basis.

Because the Rochester, NY practice operates on a self-pay basis, New York State Medicaid regulations prevent me from providing services to patients enrolled in Medicaid.

What to Expect

1
Initial 90-minute Intake
In person or on-line, our visit starts with getting to know your primary mental health concerns for your child, as well as your child's medical and psychiatric history. We will also discuss your child's physical health, nutrition and lifestyle. We will establish initial goals of care. Medications may or may not be prescribed at this first visit.
Fee: $375

We will evaluate the effectiveness of the plan of care, review progress toward established goals, and implement modifications as clinically indicated. I strive for clear communication and shared understanding among all parties to support consistent, quality care.
Fee: $175

Once we agree that we have developed an effective, safe plan of care, periodic follow ups are available as needed.

About Me
My medical path began in the operating room, transitioned to wound care, and ultimately evolved into pediatric psychiatric nursing. I am guided by my strong belief that mental health is an essential component of overall health.
My professional career began as a high school Social Studies teacher and US Army Reservist.
As with so many people, 9-11 turned my life upside-down and I found that teaching history, after experiencing the wars oversea in Iraq and Afghanistan, was no longer a good fit.
I earned my nursing degrees at St. John Fisher College in Rochester, NY practicing at Unity Hospital, the University of Rochester at Strong, and Geneva General Hospital.
